Abstract
The aim of present study was to evaluate. Retention is most important factor in denture treatment and denture adhesives can increase stability and retention of denture. So the use of denture adhesive increase recently. However, there is no domestic denture adhesive manufacturer in Korea and several imported denture adhesives are used by denture patients. We tested 6 kinds of denture adhesives according to the related international standards and evaluated them. There were some below standard products in tested specimens and unclear methods in standard. In order to use this standard for examination of denture adhesives in market, we should modify and improve the standard for future use.
